Headteachers Welcome

Welcome to Eaton Hall Specialist Academy.  We are a  unique setting where our students receive the support they need to thrive academically and grow personally.

I am proud to lead a committed staff team that works closely with our students so that they can feel real success in education. The opportunities the students receive at our school are second to none.   We believe in a broad, dynamic and flexible curriculum that meets the specific needs of our students as this exposes our students to high quality teaching, a broad range of curriculum enrichment activities and intensive support through our ‘Thrive’ approach.  We believe this prepares our students to be able to make the next steps in their lives confident and well prepared.

As you can imagine, without the staff team it would not be possible for the students at Eaton Hall Specialist Academy to have these opportunities. We have a highly skilled and committed staff made up of teachers, teaching assistants and care staff. All are dedicated to the vision of the school: to improve life chances for all students. It is our high levels of success in these aims that have led us to receive 'Outstanding' Ofsted grades in education and residence, for the last twelve years.

This would also not have been possible without the partnership with our parents. It is this partnership between home, school and students that is at the heart of our success.

Thank you for spending the time looking at our school. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to find out more.

CEO's Welcome

"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn" - Benjamin Franklin.

Eaton Hall is a unique and happy school where our primary aim is to engage pupils in learning through outstanding teaching.

"The vast majority of pupils are confident and articulate. Their positive views of the school are reflected in their responses to inspectors, with one pupil stating, 'I now enjoy coming to school and learning because I have teachers that understand me.' " Ofsted March 2018.

We aim to prepare children for their future by achieving both academic success and developing a core belief that they are a valued member of the community who can achieve anything they desire.

We hope your child will be happy at our academy, and that you as parents and carers will become fully involved in your child's education and the life of the academy generally. The partnership between home and academy is a vital one, and mutual support is imperative. At Eaton Hall Specialist Academy we value and encourage your participation and support.

I hope you will find this website useful in giving you an overview of Eaton Hall, as well as providing you with practical information. Please do not hesitate to contact the academy should you require any further information and we would be happy to give you the opportunity to visit us and see for yourself our thriving academy community.
